Automated savings verification
you can trust
Register a project. Savings are modeled, verified
and continuously tracked across your entire portfolio.

Rigorous savings verification on autopilot
Register a project, and our platform builds a weather- and calendar-normalized baseline model for that meter, calculates savings against the counterfactual, and reports confidence intervals using ASHRAE-aligned uncertainty methods. Every step follows IPMVP and established international M&V standards.
Live savings tracking across every project
Ento tracks savings continuously from the moment a project goes live. You see cumulative verified savings updates as new consumption data flows in, across every project and every building. If a project underperforms, we notify you immediately.

Built for real-world M&V
Buildings change constantly. Ento's models are designed
to handle real-world operations automatically.

Still got questions?
How does Ento verify savings?
When you register an energy efficiency project, Ento builds a counterfactual model of what consumption would have been without the intervention, using pre-project meter data, weather, and calendar patterns. It then compares actual post-project consumption against this baseline and reports verified savings in kWh, CO₂, and cost, together with confidence intervals that highlight how precise the result is.
What M&V methodology does Ento follow?
Ento follows the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP), primarily Option C (Whole Facility). The platform uses weather- and calendar-normalized baseline models and reports uncertainty using ASHRAE-aligned methods. Every step is transparent and audit-ready: you can inspect which variables were selected, model fit metrics, and confidence intervals.
Do I need to set up the baseline model manually?
No. When you register a project, Ento automatically evaluates weather, calendar, and occupancy variables and selects the combination that produces the most accurate baseline for each meter. You don't need to configure models, select variables, or clean training data. If you want to override or adjust, you can, but most users never need to.
How does Ento handle building changes that happen outside the project?
Buildings change constantly: renovations, occupancy shifts, new equipment. If these go unaccounted for, they distort savings calculations. Ento automatically detects significant shifts in consumption patterns and flags non-routine events. When a confirmed event occurs, the model adjusts accordingly, so your savings numbers reflect the project's actual impact.
Can I track savings across my whole portfolio?
Yes. Every project gets its own live dashboard, but you can also roll up verified savings across hundreds of projects and buildings in a single portfolio view. Filter by energy type, building type, or project category. This makes it straightforward to report total impact to leadership, funders, or regulators.
How quickly can I see results after a project goes live?
Ento starts tracking savings from the moment a project's reporting period begins. You don't need to wait a full year for valid data: cumulative savings update continuously as new consumption data flows in. If a project underperforms, you'll know early, so you can take action quickly.
Is the output suitable for compliance and public reporting?
Yes. Every savings estimate includes confidence intervals, model documentation, and event logs with timestamps and impact estimates. This provides a structured evidence trail for audits, funding applications, regulatory compliance, and public accountability, that would normally take months to build manually.
What if I've already done M&V manually or with a consultant?
Ento can run alongside existing processes or replace them. If you're doing M&V in spreadsheets or through periodic consultant reports, the platform automates the same workflow continuously, so you get live results instead of a static report delivered months after the fact. You can start with a few projects and expand as you see the value.
I'm an M&V consultant. Can I use Ento in my work?
Absolutely. Ento automates the heavy lifting of baseline modeling, savings calculation, and ongoing tracking, so you can focus on interpretation, advising clients, and higher-value work. Register projects on behalf of your clients, and the platform handles variable selection, model fitting, non-routine event detection, and confidence interval reporting, all following IPMVP methodology. Several consultancies already use Ento to scale their M&V practice across more buildings without proportionally scaling their team.
